Stainless Steel Precision Filter

Stainless steel precision filters, also known as cartridge filters or security filters, feature an attractive appearance and simple, rational structure with internal and external polishing. They boast low cost, compact size, large filtration area, fast flow rate, low clogging rate, excellent acid and alkali resistance, and long service life.

The tank body is made of high-quality stainless steel. The filter housing adopts a quick-open design, allowing tool-free and rapid cartridge replacement. Equipped with filter cartridges of various accuracies (including PP cartridges, wound cartridges, pleated cartridges, ceramic cartridges and other types), it can remove fine particles, colloids, metal contaminants, bacteria, residual chlorine and other impurities from water or air.

Application Scope

Widely used for water clarification, concentration & purification and air purification in food & beverage, medical & chemical, pure/ultra-pure water systems, bottled water and mineral water production lines, electronics and other industries.

 

Installation & Commissioning

1. Thoroughly clean the filter housing.

2. Connect the inlet and outlet of the housing to the pipeline. Follow the flow direction strictly to ensure water enters from the outside of cartridges and exits from the inside.

3. Unpack the top end of the cartridge, and check if the O-ring is intact and properly positioned.

4. Moisten the O-ring and cartridge socket with a suitable wetting agent (e.g. clean water).

5. Hold the cartridge near the O-ring end, and insert it vertically and fully into the socket.

6. After installing all cartridges, remove all packaging bags, fasten the pressure plate and install the metal cover.

7. Open the air vent on the top of the housing. Slightly open the inlet valve to fill the housing with liquid. Close the air vent once liquid overflows.

8. Slowly open the downstream outlet valve until fully open.

9. Slowly open the inlet valve until fully open. The initial pressure drop across the filter shall be 0.02 MPa under rated flow.

10. Replace the cartridges in time when the pressure drop exceeds 0.3 MPa or the flow rate drops obviously.
