




The carbon steel multi-media filter is a core pre-treatment equipment for industrial water treatment systems. Made of high-quality carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating, it is filled with multiple filter media such as quartz sand, anthracite and activated carbon. Water enters the tank from the top and flows down through the multi-layer filter bed:
Coarse filtration layer (upper): Intercept large particles, sediment and rust, reducing inlet turbidity.
Medium filtration layer (middle): Remove colloids and suspended solids for further purification.
Fine filtration layer (lower): Adsorb residual chlorine, odor and organic matter to improve water stability. When the filter media is saturated, backwashing (water backwashing + air scouring) is performed to discharge trapped impurities and restore filter performance, enabling long-term cyclic operation.
